Petersen Stainless Rigging is a leading manufacturer and supplier of CE marked stainless steel dee shackles, stainless steel bow shackles, high tensile (high resistance) stainless steel shackles, stainless steel turnbuckles (rigging screws, bottle screws), stainless steel cable and wire rope, webbing slings, round slings and other equipment to the lifting and offshore industries.

The range has been continuously improved since it was first developed by the company in Bergen Norway in the 1960s.

Our range of CE marked stainless steel lifting shackles and gear has been designed specifically for application in consultation with our customers, helping them to solve problems and provide the right parts for their applications.

All of the CE marked stainless steel shackles and stainless steel turnbuckles we sell are manufactured in the UK by us at our production facility in the North East of England under a certified ISO9001:2008 and AS9100 rev C quality management system. Full materials traceability comes as standard as well as in-house WLL testing up to 18t WLL, 36t proof load. All WLL tests and stainless steel shackles are uniquely identified and certified with a clear trace from shackle to test. Our lifting products also bear the CE mark in accordance with Machine Directive 2006/EC/42.
